We jumped on a small prop. plane from Grand Cayman and landed on the grass strip that serves as the runway of Little Cayman and also the softball diamond (more on that later!) We won't bore you with the good stuff...here's the REALLY good stuff...The food is great! Ann and I have dived at many dive resorts in the carribean...this is by far the best! breakfast, lunch, dinner, doesn't matter, great food!
The staff, from the cooks to the divemasters are top notch. Friendly happy faces all the time. Well trained to answer any questions you may have.
As far as the diving...it doesn't get any better than this! the dive staff are fabulous and so is the Bloody Bay wall.
A little insider's info..don't miss the manager's welcome party every sunday at 6, free punch and good laughs all round.

The two of us did 14 dives with the divemaster's Paul and Annabelle. Their assistance and knowledge of the dive sites was among the best. Each of the dive sites had something different to offer-beautiful swim throughs with lots of vase corals etc. surrounding us. We saw the largest groupers we have ever seen anywhere. There were turtles in abundance, lovely french angels, juvenile trunkfish and lobsters everywhere!
The wreck night dive was great-huge grouper and parrotfish-lots of fun. wse got closer to sothern stingrays than we ever have. What a thrill to be 2 feet away from such a graceful creature. This is one of the beast dive trips we have ever been on and we hope to return soon

Hanging at 15ft on the last day of our trip, I tried to decided which I liked better; hovering weightless along a 6,000 foot wall decorated with sponges of every imaginable shape and colour, or swimming around in what seemed to be an endless 20 foot deep aquarium. Then I realized I didn't have to choose-both asre part of the dive experience on Little Cayman! Whether you love huge schools of fish, like horse-eyed jacks and snapper, or the tiniest juvenile fish, like green angels and puffers, you'll find it all here...and more! turtles, rays and sharks too.
Feeling adventurous? Try a night dive on the Soto Trader, and get ready for some of the biggest groupers and parrotfishes you've ever seen! And did I mention the angelfish, the cowfish and the barracuda? Saying goodbye to Little Cayman isn't easy but we'll be back!

Our first trip to Little Cayman Beach Resort was in 1999. Why did we wait so long to come back? It will not be seven years until the next trip! I can't remember another trip that has perfect 60 minute dives twice a day. I can't name a favourite sight, they are all so great. The dive guides were as much help as you wanted and needed but were never an intrussion.
We saw at least 1 turtle on every dive. The marine life was abundant & the reefs healthy.
We had a wonderful time here and will be back for 2007

Little Cayman is the place to dive! The divemasters are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Their briefings are thorough and detailed. At Mike's mount we saw beautiful layered coral, a reef shark swam around by surrounded by cleaners, a spotted eagle ray foraging, and many sea turtles. L.C Beach Resort spoils us! I also got Nitrox certified and the instructor was knowleagable and flexible. Its been a dynamic trip!

We dropped down to the Bloody Bay wall about 20 minutes west along the wall. Nice coral formations and several grouper, squirrel fish and various juveniles. We saw a large nurse shark about 8-10ft long. He had a few cleaner fish taking care of him. We ascended to 30 ft and spent the rest of the dive heading back to our mooring. We saw a small southern stingray, honeycomb cowfish and trunkfish. Reef Divers have been great. Easy diving and great service. Get off the web and book your trip!

There are few places in the world that get better each time you visit, but this is one of them. I was a new diver when I came here 11 years ago. Now I have 500+ dives and many trips all over the world with which to compare Little Cayman Beach Resort and Reef Divers. This was an awesome week. Perfgect weather and water warm enough for t-shirt diving. Each of the 14 dives I did were superb. From the big reef shrak cruising round Ringer's Wall to the delicate squid hovering over Meadow's it was a memorable week. Thanks to our friendly and helpful diver guides, Nicky and Chris, the diving could not have been easier. We are making plans to return next summer
