The ie sites show off plenty of fish. The wall adds another dimension and the dive masters are helpful an fun. What a terrific week of diving with people we can now call our friends. This is my second time back but it wont be my last.

I obviously lied it enough the first time to return, but this trip was even better than the first! I love the lazy paceof iving, no pressure, no stress.
Sunny, Phil and Paul took exceptionally good care of us, checking equipment, finding great sites and even telling us a joke or two along the way. Paul is wasted as the dive manager, stand-up is surely his true calling! They even made role-call fun! They paid great attention to safety, but were't overzealous to the point of ruining our trip. We were allowed to dive our own dive and be part of the group at the same time. Thanks for a great trip guys! I know there will be a third visit. Jayne Category: General | Posted By: Dive Master Jun 21, 2007 2:09 PM By Danny Liles - Topelo, Mississippi What rich and splendid walls and reefs! The sea fans are large and unbroken. The vase sponges are gorgeous! The whole area is teeming with juveniles of every sort of fish. The Nassau Grouper are large and friendly; all the dive crews are on a first name basis with them!
I've seen more Queen Trigger fish on this trip than in almost two decades of diing. Dottie showed me Yellowhead Jawfish sheltering eggs in its mouth. We watched for almost ten minutes while a Turtle munched at coral head hile a large Grey Angelfish sucked up table scraps. I can't say enough about the boat crews. The dive briefings are superb; all the crews know the dive sites and the local residents. They did all the work in rigging tanks and bringing tanks and cameras to the back of the boat all for one giant stride to the best wall diving anywhere. I have to give special thanks to Ron who caught a failed high pressure hose on my first dive. He replaced it on the spot. The next day I asked him to replace my flooded pressure gauge - I never missed a dive all week. Danny p.s. Sunny is the hottest babe ever, woooo hoooo!! Category: General | Posted By: Dive Master Apr 26, 2007 3:18 PM By Judith Rigney After picture perfect trips in 1997 and 201, the K.J. Dive Club of California decided to reurn to Little Cayman Beach Resort for a 10 year reunion, and we are not disappointed.
With this kind of vacation, the dive staff make the dive trip! They all were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful and safety concious. The buddy system and dive limits are enforced on every one of the 3 dives per day. You are invited to follow the dive master who know the bottom and the creatures by name, or do your own dive. The boats are well equipped and handle the sometimes choppy seas nicely. Both beginners and old timers are accomodated and made to feel comfortable and welcome. We pick our trip destinations for the diving, and Little Cayman has it all. With sheer drop offs abundant, varied sea life and warm clear water. Add the dive staff, nice rooms, great food, efficient and friendly resort staff and amenities and we can only say on thing - we will return!" Category: General | Posted By: Dive Master Apr 26, 2007 3:09 PM By Richard Rigney Staff | Site Administrator That old saying "you can't go back" so often true, was not valid for our 10 year dive club reunion here. Our 1997 week had faded to a very fond memory, and our 2007 visit validated those memories.
The rooms are neat, the beds soft, the staff friendly, the meals wonderful an the diving, of course, is first rate. The dive masters deserve special mention - Adrienne, Annabelle, Sunny, Ben and Phil were competent, companionable and always attentive. Dottie, the only divemaster from 1997, deserves special mention. In 1997 she was our star. In 2007 she is even more entertaining and just as competent. She wears a dive skin that dazzles with every colour of the rainbow. Her comment "you can find me 'cos I wear yellow fins" broke everybody up. The divig is outstanding, clear warm water and Bloody Bay Wall. We will be back in 2017 if not before. Category: General | Posted By: Dive Master |
