The Little Cayman Airport is a very modest structure, and consists of just a small runway and office, and also houses the local fire department and post office. Cayman Airways Express, operated by Cayman Airways, operates daily service between Little Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Grand Cayman, and is the only carrier that presently provides service to Little Cayman. The Little Cayman Airport also accepts private aircraft.
McLaughlin Rentals offers hourly and daily rental of Jeeps. Contact them directly at (345) 948-1000 for rates and reservations. Cayman National Bank The only bank on the Island is located next to the Village Square Market and is open two days a week. Village Square Market Village Square is the only grocery store on the island and is just a five minute bike-ride away. It sells groceries, fishing tackle, books, magazines, beauty products and even building supplies for the locals! Little Cayman Clinic The Little Cayman Clinic is open daily, and is staffed regularly by a Registered Nurse. Doctors are not on staff in Little Cayman, and those suffering from serious illness or injury should seek treatment from the nearest hospital, Faith Hospital, on Cayman Brac, or the larger facilities located on Grand Cayman. Founded by Linton Tibbetts, this quaint museum displays over 150 years of historic information, artifacts and an inside look at Island life.
The church is non-denominational and all are welcome.
The National Trust is dedicated to the preservation and education of the natural environment on the island. The National Trust Visitor's Centre offers library services, local crafts, homemade ice cream and viewing platforms for bird watching. Phone service is available and the front desk. There is limited cell phone access, so please check with your carrier before your arrival. Phone cards are also available for purchase at the front desk. |
